All men know that they are sinners. All men know that God of the Holy Bible is the Creator of all things. All men know right from wrong. All men know they will be judged by God one day. But most men fail to acknowledge these things.
God of the Holy Bible has put it in your heart that you are a "sinner" (Romans 3:23) and His Word warns most sternly that "he that believeth not shall be damned". Most mock the Word of God and ignore Divine Warnings, but you know that it is true. God repeatedly inserts into your heart clear evidence that you have willingly broken His Divine Commandments. You also know that God must punish all sin. However, God has provided Himself a Remedy, the Lord Jesus Christ, who shed His precious blood for those that the Father gave Him to save. Are you one of those that the Father gave His Son to redeem on the Cross?
God bears witness against you and tells you that you are guilty of sinning against Him. David proclaimed "Against Thee, Thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in Thy sight" (Psalms 51:4). God announces in Romans 3:10-11, "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God".
Your sins against God are great in number. You have sinned against the First Commandment (Thou shalt have no other gods before me) by putting yourself before God. Specifically, you fail to worship Him and glorify Him. Remember, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve (Matt 4:10). You fail to esteem Him, trust Him, delight in him, and call upon Him. You are cold to Him and have no zeal for Him. You are ignoranct of what He expects from you because you are self centered.
Your sins against the Second Commandment are numerous. The Second Commandment states: Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; and showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. Your sins are as follows: you engage and approve of religious worship not instituted by God himself; you tolerate false religion; and you neglect the removal of your idolatries.
In terms of the Third Commandment, Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain, you repeatedly corrupt and pervert the Word of God and maintain false doctrines because they are easy to follow.
You repeatedly break the Fourth Commandment, by not remembering the sabbath day (Lord's Day) and keeping it holy. You sin with your needless Sunday works, words, shopping, thoughts, and recreations (sports).
You fail to honor your mother and father in the Fifth Commandment and repeatedly sin against the Sixth Commandment, Thou shalt not kill, with episodes of sinful anger, hatred, envy, desire for revenge, excessive passions, provoking words, quarrelling, and self destructiveness.
Thou shalt not committ adultry, the Seventh Commandment, is violated with ease and no guilt. You are guilty of lust in your heart, unclean imaginations, and acts of adultry and fornication. You watch movies and television that you know are not pleasing and acceptable to God.
You repeatedly break the Eight Commandment, Thou shalt not steal, with lying, lack of faithfulness, theft, neglect of duties both at home and in the business place, and many other behaviors that you know are considered stealing by God.
And the Ninth Commandment, Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor, is repeatedly violated with slandering, backbiting, speaking untruth, talebearing, and scoffing.
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shall not covet they neighbour’s wife, nor his man-servant, nor his maid-servant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s, the Tenth Commandment, is violated by your discontentment with your own life and estate. You envy and grieve at other's success.
You are dead in trespasses and sins (Eph 2:1) and are an enemy of God, your Creator.
But the condition of your soul is far worse. Not only do you sin grievously against God the Father, but you also sin against God the Son by rejecting that Jesus Christ is God and your Savior. Remember, He that believeth not is condemned already; because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God" (John 3:18). And when the Lord Jesus Christ spoke to the disciples, He said the following: Joh 16:8 And when He (Holy Spirit) is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Joh 16:9 Of sin, because they believe not on Me;".
Sinner, you can't save yourself. Salvation is of the Lord. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. born again.(Phil 2:13)
Ye must be born again.
Pray that God the Father will have mercy on you and convict you of your sin of unbelief in His Son so that you can "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ". Without the Lord Jesus Christ dying and shedding His blood on the Cross for your sins, your sins will not be forgiven and paid for.
In order for God the Father to let you enter the gates of Heaven, you must be reconciled with Him and you can only be reconciled through the merits of the Lord Jesus Christ's work on the Cross. He must die for you on the Cross so that the Father will see Christ's innocence (without sin) in you and Christ's perfect righteousness (obedience to the law).
It is not a matter of accepting Jesus Christ, because you can't. You must be born again and only God can regenerate a man by making that man an object of His mercy and grace.
Pray that God will have mercy on you. Read the AV 1611 (KJV Bible). and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.
